Tamil Nadu – Cheif Minister (AMMA) dies at the age of 68 on 6th December 2016 after a severe cardiac arrest she suffered on Sunday. Death was confirmed by Apollo Hospital.

Apollo Hospital announced that Jayalalitha was passed away at 11.30pm.

“It is with indescribable grief that we announce the sad demise of esteemed CM,” read the statement from the Apollo management.

AIADMK Twitter handle head posted, “The state government announced seven days of mourning due to death of TN state current Chief Minister – Jayalalitha.

All the Indian Leader’s – Narendra Modi , Soniya Gandhi, Mamtha Banerjee, Aravind Kejirwal and more leaders expressed their saddness over death.

After the secret discussion held with Sasikala team, then the next leader to AIADMK and CM to Tamil Nadu will be taken care by Mr. O. Pannerselvam.
